The antenna site at the Columbia Center is the tallest in downtown Seattle.  The site accommodates a variety of two-way, satellite, and microwave communications equipment.  A common area for land mobile radio equipment and other telecommunications systems has been allocated in two rooms on the 73rd floor.  Standby electrical power facilities for transmitter plants can be appropriately located within the building.
